Cancellation & Deposit Policy
Salons Operating Policy
At Mint Salon your appointment is incredibly important to us.

Prior to every appointment time and preparation is undertaken by our team to make sure you have the best possible service during your visit. Our Salon takes your booking as a verbal contract and therefore it is reserved especially for you.
Please understand that if you forget your appointment or cancel without giving us enough notice, the Salon misses our opportunity to fill that appointment time and any clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive Salon services that they may really need.
For this reason, please be advised that we will require a 10% deposit for certain services at time of booking, either online or over the phone.
Deposit Policy
A deposit of 10% will be required to secure an appointment for certain services. The deposit will be taken at time of booking and the booking will not be confirmed until the deposit has been received.
Deposits are Non Refundable but can be transferred if you give the Salon 48 hours notice that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
We respectfully request that if you are unable to attend your appointment you let us know as soon as possible.
48 HOURS NOTICE PLEASE
We understand that everyone has busy lives and sometimes there are circumstances beyond peoples control so we will of course always use discretion when dealing with a cancellation and each will be judged by its own merit, as we realise that these policies may be frustrating for people needing to cancel at short notice for genuine reasons.

Our stylists run busy columns and we can really suffer as a small business when we have late cancellations or no shows, especially if we could have filled those appointments from our wait list.

We require at least 48 hours notice to transfer your deposit.
If you fail to give us a minimum of 36 hours notice before cancelling your appointment then we reserve the right to also charge 50% of the value of your appointment.
If you cancel on the day of your appointment or do not show up for your appointment then 100% value of your appointment will be payable.
